The Beef Wars, Episode 1: The Rise of Plant-Based Meats
As rising global temperatures lead to less predictable weather patterns and more natural disasters, wildfires, droughts and floods, many people are looking for ways to shift to lower-carbon lifestyles. A major one, according to climate experts, is related to what we eat.
Plant-based meats exploded onto the scene in a new way in 2020, with brands like Impossible and Beyond Meat rapidly growing their footprints in grocery stores and restaurants across the U.S. These products, most popular with “flexitarians”-people who are sometimes vegetarian-gave consumers a more meat-like substitute for the classic American burger, sausage or chicken nugget.
After a period of optimism, though, the growth of these meat alternatives began to falter. As Impossible looks to its next chapter, it aims to broaden its reach to a larger swath of mainstream meat-eating audiences-an effort that has the potential for massive emissions savings, but requires marketing that inspires consumer behavior change.

Do not do the survey its a scam. First you think its just few innocent questions like what channel and what show/program you watch and How many ppl and how old are you etc. But when you finish the survey and its time to get your $5 "reward" Then the barrage of real creepy questions starts that will never end. They ask you for email adress again then you have to confirm the email and then they want you to create an account with Nielsen and then for the bank they supposed to give you the card from then they want you to create some sort of wallet with Nielsen and its bank and you keep filling all those forms thinking oh.. I am gonna get $5 CC or gift card but no... then they want you to start signing some contracts and agrees to bunch of things and all this for lousy $5? These questions are way more than the innocent survey. Think about it.. when you buy a say $20 gift card or pre-paid debit card from any where you don't have to answer that many creepy questions and this is only $5 Gift card but they just keep giving you forms to check I Agree BS. Some of those forms statements that you are agreeing on are for them to continuing monitoring and corresponding with there other BS.

Lies. Cattle use land and eat plants that people cannot grow plants that we can eat on, it is called marginal land. They turn inedible plants into meat and dairy we can eat. The water use you lie about includes mostly rain water. This is propaganda for plant based meat companies. CO2 from animals is plant food for the plants you are processing into food. Animal waste is fertilizer for your plants as well. Your lack of understanding of the most basic life cycle processes is astounding. Your ignorance will starve us all.
